Upon finishing my practicum, the employer offered me the opportunity to work with them but I had already applied for a front desk position at the Marlborough Hotel where I was offered and accepted a job as a front desk agent. After six months as a front desk agent, I was promoted as a Manager on Duty, and today I am the Assistant General Manager.
My employer is very supportive of my professional development and I am now able to help MITT and MTEC students with their work practicum experience, assisting in getting trained employees working in the industry.
