International Students
Great careers begin at MTEC and as a student you are one step closer to starting and graduating from a program that will help you with a career in the Tourism Industry in Manitoba, Canada or in other countries.
Below are the steps required to register as an International Student with MTEC.

Enroll | Complete the International Students Application Form | |
Secure your seat | Pay the admission deposit | |
Receive your Letter of Acceptance (LOA) | ||
Obtain and submit your study permit |
Proof of valid study permit must be submitted to admissions at least 30 days before the start of the program. The Port of Entry (POE) Letter of Introduction may also be accepted. | |
Visit Permits, Visas and More | ||
Pay your tuition fees | Tuition fees as outlined on the online application form (see payment information below) | |
Begin classes | Attend orientation and begin your classes |
Payment InformationFees: It is understood that fees are payable when the applicant has signed, completed and submitted the Training Program Applications, and the Manitoba Tourism Education College (MTEC) has informed the applicant of their acceptance into the training program. The undersigned student hereby undertakes and agrees to pay, or ensure payment of, the fees indicated above in the accordance with the terms of the Training Program Application. Wire Transfer:

IMPORTANT: These payments will take a number of business days to arrive and to be processed. It is important that you send a copy of the bank transfer receipt, with the student’s name and student number clearly written, to admissions@mtec.mb.ca to ensure you do not lose your seat in the program. |
